Urquhart Opticians are throwing open the doors to their newly refurbished practice in Prestwick on the afternoon of Saturday 20th June.
Established in 1916 and with a practice in Prestwick since 1989, Urquhart Opticians are hosting a family open afternoon to celebrate the refurbishment of their practice on Prestwick Main Street – next to Lido. The afternoon will consist of face painting, competitions, giveaways and the launch of Frozen frames for children. Urquhart Opticians will be one of only a handful of suppliers to stock this unique range and children will have the opportunity to meet Frozen character Olaf on the afternoon.
Optician and Partner Alistair Duff commented, “Patients, existing and new, are welcome at our open afternoon. Our refurbishment focusses on the needs of our patients, with significant investment in equipment and fittings to ensure we continue to provide an expert service in a relaxed and welcoming setting.”
Adding to this, “Next year we are celebrating our 100 year anniversary and this is just the beginning of the improvements. Further refurbishment is planned for late 2015 for our Kilmarnock and Troon practices. Our patient base is continuing to grow in all of these locations, in most part due to our eye care professionals spending time with patients and focussing on their eye health as being the most important part of our service.”
