Amy joined Urquharts in 2021 and works in our Ayr & Prestwick practices. Amy is currently undertaking her Independent Prescriber qualification and enjoys hillwalking.
Demi joined Urquhart Opticians in September 2023 and works as an Optical Assistant. Having previously attended college, Demi works full-time at our practices in Ayr & Prestwick.

Lynn loves working with the public and meeting new people every day. Her favourite place is Italy and she’ll read anything by Stephen King.
Nina joined Urquharts in 2021 and has worked as an Optometrist in Ayrshire for over 15 years. Nina is a qualified Independent Prescriber and in her spare time she volunteers with animals.
We are based at 77 Main Street, Prestwick. The practice is easily accessible from either Troon/Monkton/M77 or from Ayr. From the M77, follow signs for Prestwick Airport. Continue on to the Shawhead Farm Roundabout and follow signs for Prestwick/Ayr. Continue past Brysons Car Garage on your right handside. Go straight through the traffic lights and our practice is beyond the pedestrian crossing on your left handside. From Ayr, follow signs for Prestwick. Pass The Vic and The Vines on your left handside and continue on to Prestwick main street. You will pass Prestwick South Parish Church on your left handside. Our practice is before the pedestrian crossing on your right handside. The practice is a white building with external signage and is next door to the Buzzworks establishment, LIDO.
