Urquhart Opticians in Kilmarnock, with flexibility to cover all other practices as required.

Salary:

Depending on Experience + Bonus + Pension (6%) + Company Benefits

Hours:

Part-Time – 3 or 4 Days Per Week, Permanent, Saturday Working and Flexibility of Days Required

Established in 1916, Urquharts currently operates five practices within Ayrshire – Kilmarnock, Prestwick, Troon, Ayr & Kilwinning. Due to the continued expansion of our business, we are recruiting an Optometrist for our practice in Kilmarnock, but with flexibility to cover our other practices as required.

We’ve got a management team consisting of six Opticians, who are driven to make a difference to people’s life by improving their vision. We are a forward thinking team, always finding ways to improve our service offering and nothing ever stays the same for very long, whether that’s introducing OCT, offering a Macular Management Clinic or partnering with the world’s leading technology provider for the visually impaired, OrCam.

We are looking to add an Optometrist to our team. You will be part of a team of Optometrists and supported by a business function that allows you to focus on what you want to do most – care for patients. You can also expect to be supported with your professional development (Management/IP, etc), to have a platform to voice opinions and for those to be implemented as part of our businesses improvement and it will be an environment where you are valued and you’re not just a number.
